Frequently Asked Questions
All of your data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. Nothing is sent to external servers. Your training data stays private and is accessible even without an internet connection.
Tap the Attendance tab at the bottom of the screen. Select either "Class" or "Open Mat" using the segment control at the top, then fill in the date, duration, and any optional notes. Tap "Log Session" to save.
Go to the Tournaments tab and tap the + button to create a tournament. Once created, tap on it to expand and use the "Add Match" button to log individual match results, including opponent name, weight class, result, and submission method.
Your data is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes device backup. As long as you back up your iPhone, your Spartan Academy data will be restored if you switch devices or reinstall the app.
The Dashboard pulls from all of your logged data and filters by the current month or year depending on which toggle you select. Classes attended, hours on the mat, open mat rounds, workout days, and competition results are all calculated automatically.
Each logged entry has a delete button (✕) on the right side. Tap it and confirm the deletion prompt. This applies to attendance sessions, exercises, tournaments, and calendar events.
Spartan Academy is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Privacy

Your Data Stays on Your Device

Spartan Academy does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All training logs, competition records, and lifestyle data are stored exclusively on your device.

We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. No account or sign-in is required to use the app.
